Youth Empowerment and Development

The Foundation for Youth Development is a non-profit, non-governmental organization founded in 2003 by Rt. Hon. Chibudom Nwuche.The Foundation's main objective is to promote youth empowerment, enlightenment, education and motivation toward becoming national leaders imbued with the qualities of hard work, honesty, integrity, respect for the rule of law, fear of God, and nationalism.

FYD strives to raise a generation of youth that will build the new Nigeria of our dreams anchored on rapid socio-economic development. Since its establishment in 2003, the Foundation for Youth Development (FYD) has conducted several enlightenment programs for youths on moral awareness and the cultivation of the right attitude towards becoming productive members of society.

Community outreach programmes

Rt. Hon. Chibudom Nwuche:

1. Established community outreach programmes for widows and assisted in giving them grants to start small scale businesses.

2. Automated most community schools by providing them with ICT equipment

1. HIV/AIDS enlightenment in rural areas plus free testing and counselling.
